Ordering
You don't have to, but we would love if you did! Creating a Poppy & Vale account makes future ordering and tracking easier for you. For our subscribers, we send out advance notice of new arrivals, sales, discounts, and inspiration. We never share or sell our mailing list, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
We only offer 1 day holds, but you can place an order online and select “Hold for Pick Up” under Delivery Options at checkout. Reach out to us at orders@shop-poppyandvale.com to let us know when to expect you, bring your order number for pick up, and we’ll have everything ready to go. Our storage space is limited, so we ask that all holds be picked up within 7 days. Please contact us if you need a longer hold time, or inquire about local delivery options.
Poppy & Vale accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, Shop Pay, Google Pay, Apply Pay, and Poppy & Vale gift cards.
Poppy & Vale gift cards can be used for online or in-store purchases.
Absolutely! You can select our gift wrap box for an extra charge, or choose a gift bag here. Let us know in order notes that this is a gift, or contact us at orders@shop-popyandvale.com with any special instructions.
Shipping
Rates are calculated based on item weight and ship via USPS. All orders are shipped from North Conway, NH.
Most orders will ship out within 1-2 business days after your order is placed. If an item is not immediately available to ship, we will contact you with an estimated shipping date. A tracking number will be provided once your order has shipped.
Orders are shipped from our store in North Conway, NH. The closer the ship-to address is to us, the sooner you will receive your order. Unfortunately we have no control over US Post Office delivery, and cannot factor in weather related
shipping delays. If your order is a gift, we advise you to order well in advance.
Some items may be especially heavy or fragile, may incur excessive shipping charges, and are only available for in-store pick up. If you absolutely love an item and have to have it, contact us for a shipping quote. We’ll do our best to find a way to get it to you!
Currently we ship via USPS, and the available options and pricing will be calculated at checkout, which may include USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, or Priority Express.

Returns/Exchanges
You may return most new, unopened items within 15 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc). You should expect to receive your refund within 72 hours once we have received your return. Returns are processed Monday - Friday between 9am and 5pm. Plants purchased in-store have a 7 day return policy.
Please note the following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:
- Seasonal or perishable goods (holiday decor, food, etc)
- Personalized or customized products
- Original artwork
- Personal care goods (beauty and hair products, face masks, hand creams)
- Gift cards
- Sale or discounted items
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Returns made after 15 days and up to 30 days may be eligible for store credit only.
Contact us at orders@shop-poppyandvale.com or within 15 days to start the return process. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions. Customers are responsible for packaging, shipping, and any additional costs incurred as a result of returns. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at orders@shop-poppyandvale.com.
If you want to exchange an item due to preference, the above return policies will apply. To proceed with an exchange, please email us at orders@shop-poppyandvale.com, then place an order for the new item(s). Your new order will ship within 1-2 business days. Refund of the exchanged item will be processed within 2 business days of receiving it back at Poppy & Vale in new, unused condition. Items broken in return transit are the responsibility of the customer and should be submitted as a claim through the shipping carrier.
We inspect all merchandise before shipping, but occasionally damages may happen during shipping. Please inspect your order and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Keep all original packaging and contact us right away at orders@shop-poppyandvale.com. For insurance purposes, we will need images of the damaged item, and photos of the original box with shipping label attached. We’ll issue a return label so the damaged item can be sent back to us, and when possible we’ll replace it at no cost to you. In the rare case that a one-of-a-kind item is damaged, we will refund your original payment, including the original shipping cost for the damaged item.
